ABOUT LEA ART STUDIO

I am a local artist based in Aspen and I discovered a way to contribute and give back to the Aspen/Snowmass, Roaring Fork Valley community by giving art lessons, group lessons, parties, events, and corporate events to our art-loving community that is has been looking for these types of art events. Sharing my artistic abilities and helping others discover theirs are what I want to be known for.

Whether this is your first time picking up a paintbrush in 20 years, or if you’re a creative person looking to explore new skills, an art class could be just what you need in this age of too much screen time. Dig in, get a little messy and make a masterpiece with me. I offer adults and children an opportunity to be their expressive selves through different art mediums in a group or private lessons and birthday parties & events.

Lea have been very fortunate upon arriving to create a new life in the Aspen/Snowmass/Roaring Fork Valley. Lea has several goals and 2 passions to accomplish in her new home. Lea would like to teach art to the community that loves art in one of the most beautiful mountain towns in Colorado. Lea conduct “En Plein air events” teaching how to capture the beauty of Aspen on canvas. Since Lea’s arrival here in 2019, Lea has taught private art lessons, birthday art parties, art camps and seniors at the Aspen Senior Center. In addition, Lea ‘s 60-inch Black Diamond painting was exhibited in the John McHugh Gallery listed for sale for 15k. Lea, pledged that she would contribute part of the sale of the painting to the Aspen Hope Center.

Lea’s artistic ability was discovered when she was 5 years old when she won her first cash prize for a drawing submitted to a national newspaper. Art came to Lea naturally as she explored and taught herself the skills of drawing and painting. Lea continued to develop her art skills, teaching herself, taking art classes at Rhode Island School of Design, University of California Northridge, and Florida Atlantic University. Lea has been juried into Museum exhibits and awarded for several of her artworks. Several of her paintings are now collected by private art collectors. Lea is now bringing these skills to the Aspen area; Lea has been contacted by many local people that requesting that Lea bring her style of teaching to the valley.

What makes Lea’s art style unique, the method of teaching art from a point of SEEING a skill that can give even a person who thinks they can never produce art make great art! In addition, I have achieved the goal of assisting Sellers, and Buyers accomplish their property goals from my representation through my own Brokerage company. Being an artistic person Lea can “think outside the box” and find solutions, and marketing methods that others have never used. This is the ideal lifestyle for me. I can explore the local beauty of the area with my paintbrush, capture the natural beauty at the same time utilize my lifelong real estate knowledge to sell beautiful homes. I hope these 2 passions will help me to get to know the resident “locals”.
